On 5 February 2026, around 30 educators from Raffles Institution gathered for a hands-on workshop titled “Getting Started with ScholAIstic“, facilitated by Ms Karina Yuen, EdTech Development Specialist at AICET. The three-hour session introduced educators to AICET’s AI-powered learning platform and equipped them with the skills to design, build, and deploy their own simulation chatbots.
The session opened with a showcase of how ScholAIstic is currently being used across NUS. Participants then experienced the platform from the student’s perspective and learned the full teacher workflow. In the second half, educators brainstormed potential applications for their subjects and tried building their own chatbots on the platform, with ideas ranging from essay writing coaching and interview preparation to code debugging, student reflection, and examination review support.

This workshop represents a growing collaboration between AICET and MOE schools. By putting educators in control of how AI behaves in the classroom, ScholAIstic enables teachers to create structured, personalised learning experiences at scale. The session also provided AICET with valuable insight into how MOE educators envision integrating AI into their teaching.
