About

The AI Centre for Educational Technologies (AICET) is a leading research centre, dedicated to revolutionising education through Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Recognising AI’s transformative potential to enhance educators’ capabilities and create new opportunities for impactful and effective teaching and learning, AICET aims to help educators everywhere teach better.

AICET was established on 18 Dec 2020, by the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office (SNDGO) and Ministry of Education (MOE). AICET is currently funded by AI Singapore (AISG), and is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) School of Computing. However, our mission extends far beyond NUS.

Since June 2024, AICET has expanded its collaborations with educators within NUS, nationally, and globally. By providing pedagogical support and technical expertise, we help educators make full use of these advances to drive pedagogical innovation within the education landscape.

Our long-term goal is to become a global thought leader in pedagogical and EdTech innovation. By developing and implementing innovative technological tools, AICET strives to advance the higher education landscape both in Singapore and beyond.
