At the AICET, we do not just develop software; we help educators figure out the reasons why and how to use software to enhance teaching and learning.
It is with this aim that we specially designed a workshop, ‘Teacher Leadership in Guiding AI Practices in Schools’, for MOE W5 Cluster Teacher Leaders. These Teacher Leaders are not just curriculum experts; they are also masters of student engagement and learning.
Our afternoon on 23 May 2025 together saw us working on two hands-on activities that sparked off a series of engaging discussions on what do our students turn to AI for, and how effective or meaningful are these use cases?
Looking forward, the participants then explored ways to guide AI practices in schools better: what is safe and responsible use of AIEd, how do we integrate AI in pedagogy, what is its impact on learning/learners, and what are the measures of goodness?
These are difficult but practical questions that draw from our collective wisdom of lived experiences and use cases.
