AICET Hosted Kansai University Delegation to Advance Future-Ready Education

On 5 February 2026, AICET was honored to host a distinguished delegation from Kansai University’s Faculty of Business and Commerce. This visit marked a significant milestone in our ongoing academic collaboration and shared commitment to global educational excellence.

The visiting party was led by Prof. Kenichi Nishioka, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Commerce, and included 23 students from the Business Leader Special Program (BLSP) along with a delegation of five faculty members. The group engaged in intensive knowledge-sharing sessions aimed at developing the next generation of global business leaders.

During the session, Prof. Ben Leong delivered a powerful presentation under the theme “Students have changed”. He addressed the urgent need for higher education to adapt to a “new reality” shaped by shifting student demographics, societal wealth, and evolving norms. Central to the discussion was AICET’s “Pedagogy First” philosophy, which asserts that technology must serve as a strategic tool to enhance core educational objectives rather than dictate them. To support this transition, Prof. Ben Leong introduced the GROW Framework (Goal, Reality, Options, and Will) as a structured model for providing future-oriented mentorship in an increasingly complex landscape.

Considerable attention and excitement were focused on the upcoming debut of AICET’s Multi-Agent Chatbot, scheduled for launch in June 2026. This advancement was set to revolutionize practical learning by enabling sophisticated and immersive AI interactions, paving the way for more effective and practical educational experiences.

This visit marked a significant step toward building a future-ready educational environment for both Singapore and Japan. We look forward to continued synergy with Kansai University in fostering innovation and academic growth.
