AICET Project Teams, Softmark and Codaveri, were featured on Channel 8’s ‘Hello Singapore’

On 2nd November 2022, engineers from our Softmark and Codaveri teams, were featured in an interview on Channel 8’s ‘Hello Singapore’.

In the interview, Associate Professor Ben Leong, Director of AICET, along with team members from Softmark and Codaveri, shared their insights on the impact of AI in enhancing the student learning experience and easing the workload for teachers.

SoftMark simplifies the grading of exam scripts allowing teachers to mark on the go, with computer vision to assist with automatic grading of MCQs.

Codaveri provides real-time AI-generated feedback for coding assignments, detecting errors in students’ work whilst offering comments to help students learn and improve. Teachers can vet and edit the feedback and add personalised prompts to enhance learning.

Both projects demonstrate AICET’s use of AI to boost student engagement and ease the teacher’s workload. Another project, Coursemology, was also introduced during the interview.
