On 18 August 2026, tech leaders, enterprise decision-makers, and investors gathered in Ho Chi Minh City for The Future of Artificial Intelligence: Chapter 4—a flagship event co-organised by JDI and the Hong Kong Business Association Vietnam. With an elite audience comprising 45% corporate leaders, 40% startups/SMEs, and a combined 80% management-level attendees (CXOs, senior/middle management, and founders), the summit offered a high-energy platform for two teams from AICET: Koditsu and SoftMark.
Both teams set up shop right in the heart of the event’s exhibition hall. Koditsu: represented by Shubham Sahai, Umair Ahmed, Satvik Sinha, and Markus Yeo, focused on demonstrating how their tech solves local talent and hiring challenges. Meanwhile, SoftMark: represented by Ooi Ming Sheng and Yang Hui Ting, built momentum from their booth to engage in strategic discussions, blending live product demos with JDI’s curated investor and reseller matchmaking sessions.

Koditsu: Hands-On Booth Engagement & Hiring Solutions
For Koditsu, setting up inside the conference exhibition zone put their hiring-tech solutions in front of an active audience.
The primary objectives for their outreach visit were clear:
- Decode Requirements: Gain deep insights into the local market dynamics and operational needs of Vietnamese companies.
- Network with Active Adopters: Engage directly with users who were enthusiastic about adopting or testing new technology.
- Map Use Cases: Identify real-world hiring challenges and test how Koditsu’s technology can solve them efficiently.
The strategy paid off rapidly. Over 75 individuals visited the Koditsu booth, leading to candid discussions about hiring workflows, talent evaluation, and local requirements. By the end of the day, the team had identified several practical use cases and established promising enterprise leads that will move into formal exploration in the coming weeks.

SoftMark: Curated Matching & Strategic Partnership Exploration
Operating alongside Koditsu’s floor presence, SoftMark focused on commercial viability and channel expansion. SoftMark took full advantage of the conference’s curated matchmaking sessions, which brought together startup founders, tech reseller networks, and enterprise leaders.
SoftMark’s mission centered on two critical milestones:
- Product-Market Fit Validation: Gathering immediate feedback from local corporate leaders to determine how well their software aligns with Vietnamese operational priorities.
- Channel Partner Discovery: Identifying potential resellers and tech distributors capable of helping SoftMark scale its distribution locally.
Organised with a balanced mix of founders, reseller businesses, and enterprise tech companies, the environment was primed for exploring local go-to-market channels.

A Unified Push into Southeast Asia
Rather than operating in silos, the joint AICET delegation demonstrated how early-stage tech teams can combine live product showcases with strategic channel building to maximise regional expansion.
As Southeast Asia shifts from asking what AI can do to implementing solutions that deliver real-world business ROI, AICET’s teams are well-positioned to convert their Vietnam outreach into meaningful regional impact.
