On 26th June 2024, the AICET organised Learning Journey 2024 that brought together educators, thought leaders, and AI specialists for a day of insightful discussions on the future of AI in Singapore’s education system.
The AICET Learning Journey 2024 is a dedicated platform for educators from the Ministry of Education (MOE) to explore how artificial intelligence can be harnessed to enhance educational practices in Singapore. We had many inspiring and thought-provoking sharings by teachers from Xing Nan Primary School, Si Ling Primary School, Manjusri Secondary School, Temasek Junior College, and Raffles Institution.
One highlight of the event was the panel discussion featuring Associate Professor Ben Leong, Director of AICET, and Mr. Chia Hai Siang, Master Specialist at the Educational Technology Division, MOE. They engaged in a lively discussion, addressing important questions about the role of AI, the difference between EdTech and productivity tools, and the future of education.
