On 08 Jan 2025, AICET hosted its third “Learning Journey”, promoting AI in education. Prof. Ben Leong, Director/AICET, opened the event, emphasizing the responsible integration of AI in education. About 80 participants across different schools attended the event.
The event featured inspiring and thought-provoking presentations. Speakers from West Grove Primary, Waterway Primary, and Temasek Secondary shared insights on using AI to enhance student engagement and personalized learning. Representatives from AICET SoftMark and ScholAIstic demonstrated innovative AI tools for educators.
Mr. Chia Hai Siang, Master Specialist in the Technologies for Learning Branch from the Ministry of Education (MOE) also presented on the latest AI features in the Student Learning Space (SLS). The participants were treated to a rousing panel discussion with Prof. Ben Leong and Mr. Chia Hai Siang, where the two explored AI’s future role in education.
The event highlighted AI’s growing impact on Singapore’s education system, promoting collaboration to maximize its potential.
