Consultancy Services

Dear NUS educators,
We are excited to invite you to take full advantage of our comprehensive suite of consultancy services offered by the AI Centre for Educational Technologies (AICET).

NUS recognises the potential for AI to enhance our educators’ capabilities and to provide new opportunities for impactful and effective teaching and learning. For this reason, AICET has been tasked to support NUS educators in making full use of these advances to drive pedagogical innovation within the higher education landscape.

AICET’s consultancy services aim to achieve two primary goals:

  1. Enhancing Teaching through AI: By offering both pedagogical and technical guidance, we aim to assist faculty in applying AI to develop creative solutions that address current teaching and learning challenges.
  2. Exploring Innovative Uses of Generative AI (GenAI): Our team will work with faculty to discover new applications of GenAI that can improve current practices or enable novel teaching and learning methods previously not possible.

Consultancy Services

The consultancy services offered include:

  • Pedagogical Guidance: Expert advice to develop new educational practices and effectively implement AI in ways that support student learning.
  • AI and Technical Support: Assistance in the integration and use of AI technologies to ensure they complement your teaching.
  • Software Engineering Assistance: Support in developing new educational tools, if required.
  • Student Involvement: Facilitation of student participation in the design, implementation, and evaluation phases to ensure practical and impactful results.

Please note that support will be provided in the form of expertise and technical resources, rather than financial support. Selected proposals will be chosen based on resource availability, and not solely on merit or quality.

Eligibility

We encourage all interested NUS faculty members to submit their proposals for consideration. This is an excellent opportunity to explore how AI can enhance your teaching practices and contribute to pedagogical innovation here at NUS.

Do note that our consultancy services are only for fellow educators within the NUS community.
